FAQ
What do I do if I have questions about my order?
Send us an email at info@anthonylent.com, and we'll get back to you right away.
What if I decide to cancel, return, or exchange my order?
You may cancel your order before shipment or return it at no charge up to 10 days after delivery. After that, you may exchange your purchase for store credit. See our Shipping & Returns page for full details.
How can I check on the status of my order?
Please email us with your order details, and we'll update you on what's happening. For orders that incur unusual delays, we will likely contact you first.
Will you make repairs?
We endeavor to make our jewelry as resilient as possible, but, as with all jewelry, stones sometimes fall out or delicate mechanisms can break. If this happens, please contact us, and we will work with you to address the situation. Your satisfaction is our highest priority.
How long will my order take to arrive?
If your piece is in-stock, we can ship it to you overnight. If it is made-to-order or requires sizing, it can take up to two weeks to deliver. If you're in a hurry, please let us know, and we will do our best to speed up processing of your order, if possible.
Do your prices include sales tax?
Sales tax is charged on orders shipped to the State of New York only.
How will you package my order?
Each piece comes in its own, custom jewelry box, which you can use for storage. We pack up these smaller boxes securely in a larger box to ensure that your piece arrives in pristine condition.
Is it possible to include a personal gift message with my order?
At this time we do not offer a gift message service. If you are interested in having your jewelry engraved, however, please email us to discuss the details of your request.
Are rings available in any size?
Although not all rings are available in every size, if we don't currently offer a ring in your size, contact us and we'll determine if it's possible to make a custom adjustment. This may not be possible in all cases, but we will do our best to accommodate you.
How do I find out my ring size?
You can determine your ring size by downloading a printable ring sizer (easily found online) or by visiting your local jeweler (recommended). Sizing standards may vary country-to-country, so please make sure you provide us with a size that is valid in the United States.
What if I order a ring, and it doesn't fit?
We will work with you to ensure you receive a ring that you are comfortable with. Since many of our rings come in unusual shapes, the standard sizes are not always a useful guide for our pieces, so please do not hesitate to contact us for advice.
What if I get my ring size wrong?
If you order the wrong size by mistake, depending on the ring we may be able to resize it for you for an additional fee of $50.00 plus shipping. Please note that many of our rings have elements which make resizing difficult or impossible. Therefore, before ordering rings, please be certain of your size. Do not hesitate to contact us with questions!
How do I find out my bracelet size?
Simply measure the circumference of your wrist, and choose the size that most closely corresponds to your measurement. If none of our available sizes are suitable, please contact us for custom sizing. Note that bracelets that are substantially larger than what we offer in the online store may cost more, depending on the materials.
Do your pendants include chains?
Yes, they all include the length of chain specified in the details for that piece. If you would like a chain of a different length, let us know by emailing us when you place your order. Please note that while some pendants may be available without a chain, many are not.
How do I care for my jewelry?
Gold and platinum are relatively easy to care for. For home cleaning, never use more than warm water and soap with a soft brush to lightly clean your jewelry. Be aware that many colored gemstones such as opal and emerald are extremely sensitive to liquids, especially cleaning agents—please take care with these stones, and use caution when cleaning them. We always advise that you have your fine jewelry cleaned by a professional jeweler. Unlike gold and platinum, silver will naturally tarnish when exposed to air and sunlight. The metal will gradually oxidize and turn black if you don't store your silver jewelry properly or wear it often. You can rub silver pieces with baking soda to clean them, and lemon juice will restore their shine.
What is the purity of the gold in Anthony Lent jewelry?
Anthony Lent uses 18 karat gold exclusively for all of our gold jewelry pieces. A karat is a measurement of purity, unlike the "carat" used to measure the weight of diamonds. Pure gold is 24k, though few jewelers work with it because of its softness. We occasionally use 20k gold for certain rose gold pieces that require a more pliable metal.
Where do you source your diamonds?
We purchase all of our diamonds and other precious stones from certified dealers. We do not use conflict diamonds in any of our work.
What are the differences between yellow, rose, and white gold?
Other metals, such as copper, nickel, and zinc, are often mixed with pure gold to produce alloys of various shades. The metals that are mixed with the gold will determine the color of the alloy. These colors can range from white to various shades of yellow, pink, red, and even blue or black. Most of our jewelry is made with 18k yellow gold using a proprietary alloy to ensure a consistent metal color.

How is your jewelry made?
Most of our jewelry begins life as a concept, dream or vision in the mind of Anthony Lent, usually inspired by the natural world or an aspect of art history. Our manufacturing techniques range from the traditional and often lost methods of the 19th and 20th centuries to state of the art technologies of today. Depending on the piece, Anthony Lent jewelry may employ elements of lost wax casting, hand fabrication, 3D printing, die striking, or hand engraving. Every one of our pieces, whether it is a casting or a completely hand fabricated item, undergoes extreme scrutiny to ensure the finished product is perfect. All Anthony Lent jewelry is hallmarked and engraved with an individual serial number to ensure its reputation and authenticity.
